If you are a Southborough senior with papers to shred, the Southborough Senior Center is offering a free opportunity this fall. For those of you who already saved a date from the fall newsletter, there’s a schedule change.
The event was scheduled for this Saturday. But with the Senior Center building serving as the early voting location for all Southborough precincts, it’s being postponed.
The new date is Saturday, November 14th from 9:00 am to noon:
E. L. Harvey and Sons, Inc will be coming to the senior center parking lot to give us the opportunity to shred all those unwanted household papers & documents you have hanging around. Pull in the parking lot and there will be an area that will be dedicated and sectioned off with cones. Your papers can contain staples.
Paper Only
Hello,
I am a resident of Southborough, and I would like to bring some papers to be shredded on Saturday, November 14,2020. I’m wondering what my limit would be for my unwanted papers, as I currently have them in a paper box.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Chuck Rotondi.
You need to contact the Senior Center directly for information on their events. Their phone number is 508-229-4453.
Hello,
I have two paper boxes with sensitive information to be shredded. I tried to reach the phone recommended but just getting a voicemail box. Will the event happen Saturday, November 11/14/202?
Thank you very much.
Alex
I haven’t spoken to anyone about it this week, but the other day, I saw a big banner posted in front of the Senior Center that notified the event was postponed to November 14th. (Reminder, the event is only open to seniors.) So, I’d say it’s safe to assume it’s still a go – especially since no rain is forecast to interfere.
