Southborough Youth and Family Services is offering another workshop series to help youth in town. This program is geared towards middle school and high school students. Given the extra challenges of keeping on top of studies this year, it’s likely to be of use to many.
SYFS’ series offers to help Southborough students be “Organized and On Time”.
The program is free. But you need to sign up by a week from today – Tuesday, November 3rd.
SYFS is pitching that participating students can expect to strengthen their strategies and skills to reduce stress and achieve personal goals across a wide range of habits.
The workshop will aid students with:
- Organization
- Self Control
- Focus
- Task Initiation
- Time Management
- Planning
The zoom programs are for Southborough residents. Weekly workshops will run for 12 sessions beginning the 2nd week in November. Classes will be a group conversation format hosted on zoom.
- Grades 6-8 will meet Mondays 2:00-2:45 pm, November 9th – February 8th*
- Grades 9-12 will meet Thursdays 3:00- 3:45 pm, November 12th – February 25th*

Are the “Organized and On Time” workshops still happening?
Sorry, this post was from last year. They don’t appear to be offered at this time. The program was coordinated by Meaghan Eiland of SYFS. You could try emailing her to see she can point you to resources that may be helpful for your family. meiland@southboroughma.com
