This Saturday, the Cub Scouts will be selling wreaths and candles at the Transfer Station. (Reminder, if you’ve been waiting for a scout to knock on your door, that’s been ruled out for this year.)
Here is the announcement on this Saturday’s event:
Cub Scout Wreath and Candle Sale at the Transfer Station This Saturday, November 21st
This Saturday, the Southborough Cub Scouts are selling Christmas wreaths and Hanukkah candles at the transfer station for $15.00. Please note that this year the sales will take place at the lower level of the transfer station and will be set up as a drive through. Please stay in your car, wear a mask and place your order with one of the adults on site.
To help minimize contact please have your payment ready. Payment can be cash, check (made out to “Southborough Pack 926”) or credit card.
If you have already placed your order, your orders will be delivered by November 25th.
The sale will be going on from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Are the Cub Scouts also selling wreaths again this coming Saturday after Thanksgiving?
When i bought mine last Saturday, they looked so nice that 2 of my neighbors ran down to the Transfer Station (lower level parking lot) to buy some for themselves. Very nice full wreaths for $15.00 , with or without a bow.
The scoutmaster said that sales were way down this year since the scouts could not go door to door. But he said they would sell again this Saturday in the hope of more success. IF THIS IS TRUE, can we get the word out Beth? It’s always great to support our kids.
I’m not sure. I reached out to see.
The answer came back – yes, from 8-4. I will be posting the news.
