The Southborough Food Pantry issued a big thank you to the community for its support this fall. Thanks to individual donations and collection drives, the Pantry was stocked up in time for Thanksgiving:
This heart felt thank you from The United Parishes of Southborough Food Pantry is on behalf of the over 60 households you have been supporting through this pandemic and into Thanksgiving.
All of us involved with the Food Pantry are both overwhelmed and overjoyed by your caring and generosity.
Bags of Thanksgiving and grocery items have been distributed to 56 Families in time for the holiday.
Prior to the community-wide thank you, the Pantry issued two new acknowledgments.
Since the last time I posted about the community’s generosity, the Pantry received two bins of items collected by Southborough Cub Scout Pack 926 and a large contribution from a local company:
A very big THANK YOU to the staff at Block Engineering on Turnpike Road for the huge donation they made today to the Food Pantry.
They are a company that has been able to work through the pandemic and wanted to reach out to help those who couldn’t work or were affected by the Virus.
