In case you missed it, Santa Day is being postponed to December 12th due to today’s Nor’easter. Here are the highlights of what I was told is happening around town this weekend.
Before I list the events below, I want to draw attention to the updated, much larger, shop local guide I posted yesterday. This version has more categories than last weeks and many of the businesses do offer online shopping.

- Cub Scout – Wreaths & Candle Sale (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) @ Transfer Station: Cub Scouts will be selling Christmas wreaths and Hanukkah candles at the Transfer Station again. For details, see post covering last weekend’s sale. [Editor’s Note: I was told this event was weather dependent and they would try setting up this morning, but close early if it gets too bad. I don’t have their updated status this morning.]
- Virtual St. Mark’s Silent Auction Fundraiser @ online: The annual fundraiser supports St. Mark’s Episcopal Church’s youth group and the Southborough Food Pantry’s fuel assistance program. Take part in the church’s online Silent Auction, Bake Sale, and Basket Raffle. For details, see dedicated post. (Examples of some of the items right.)
- Pop-Up Home Decor Sale (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ 1 East Main Street: Realtor Ginny Martin will sell gently used home decor from her staging inventory. Customers are encouraged to schedule an appointment. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Southborough Youth & Family Services. For details, see dedicated post.

- Virtual St. Mark’s Silent Auction Fundraiser @ online: The final day of the fundraiser. For details, see dedicated post.
