The Southborough Teachers Association announced they are again offering two scholarships to high school seniors graduating this year. Each is for $750. Applicants must be Southborough seniors attending Algonquin Regional High School. The details are below.
The Mary Mullins Memorial Award
This award is for a student is pursuing a degree in education or a related field of study at a four-year institution.
The Dr. Charles Gobron Integrity Award
This award is for a student who personifies high ethics as demonstrated through leadership, community service, personal integrity, and academic accomplishments.
Interested students should look for the opportunities in Naviance or speak to their guidance counselors for more information. Applications are due by April 1st.
Last year’s recipients were Arthur Andreeve (Mary Mullins Memorial Award) and Abigail Araujo (Charles Gobron Integrity Award).
