Yesterday, I shared information on a special Ninja Warrier camp that Southborough Recreation is offering this summer. I just realized that there are two more sports camps I missed.
Rec is bringing back BEST Soccer to run two weeks of its soccer camps this summer for a range of ages. They’ve also booked Fast Athletics to run a one week “Ultimate Sports and Games” camp in August.
[Note: Don’t forget, Rec is also offering full and half day summer camps and CIT programs throughout the summer. Click here for those details.]
Below is the information on the sports camps this July and August:
Summer Program with BEST Soccer
Session 1 – July 12 – 16
Session 2 – August 23 – 27
Monday-Fridays at Neary School campus
BEST Soccer will focus on a different technical topic each day. Players will learn the importance of a good warm up through fun games and activities. Coaches will develop the basic foot skills, passing and shooting through structured games with each player actively involved.
Players will also learn the basics of soccer match play via 3×3 tournaments focusing on positions, communication and interest in soccer while still having lots of fun!
What to bring? Plenty of water, shin guards, sneakers or cleats and a nut free snack (and nut free lunch if participating in a full day).
First KIX: Ages 3-5, 9:00-10:00 am – $100
Half Day: Ages 5-14, 9:00-12:00 pm – $160
Full Day: Ages 7-14, 9:00-3:00 pm – $260

Ultimate Sports and Games Summer Program
August 2 – 6
Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Fayville Park
For ages 7-12 – $130
If you are getting tired of playing the same old sports every day, this is definitely the program for you. The non-traditional style of games/ competitions will keep all participants on their toes learning new games as they get further into this program. Have you ever heard of Fort Knox? Or Ultimate Frisbee? What about Army Dodgeball? Get together with F.A.S.T. Athletics and see what all the hype is about!!! This unique program will also put emphasis on physical fitness, proper stretching techniques and teamwork.
