Learn new tricks from a magician – April 21st

A week from today, kids have another opportunity to take part in a free magician’s workshop.

For spring break, the Southborough Library is bringing back magician Debbie O’Carroll. (Of course, as with everything else these days, the event will be held over zoom.)

It’s an encore – but not a repeat – of a program offered over February break.

O’Carroll will again teach how to “Make Your Own Magic Tricks”. The program is pitched as ideal for ages 7 and older:

Magician Debbie O’Carroll’s Make Your Own Magic Tricks Zoom Workshop is a delightful way to learn how to make and perform 5 amazing magic tricks! Amuse and astound your family and friends with magic illusions made from everyday objects found around your house.

Good news for those who enjoyed her last session:

If you previously participated in this workshop you may participate again…the magic tricks will be different!

The zoom session will take place Wednesday, April 21st at 11:00 am.  To take part, pre-register through Southborough Recreation here. According to a Facebook post by the magician, participants will receive advance instructions on gathering some common household items.

If you have any questions or have trouble any connecting, please contact Kim Ivers at kivers@southboroughma.com. Library staff will do their best to assist you.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
