Above: The Southborough Library is welcoming back young patrons to read to “Bear” at the Library.

The Southborough Library is bringing back its in-person Read to a Dog program to encourage young readers.

Read to a Dog Outside flyerAfter the Library closed its doors, the bi-weekly program was moved to zoom. Through the end of May, readers are now invited to join Bear live on the Library Lawn.

Upcoming sessions are May 1st, 15th, and 29th. 

Pre-registration is required (here), with a limit of 3 children per session. Each participant will get a chance to read a short book to the certified therapy dog.
