The Southborough Library is bringing back poet Heather J. Macpherson to lead her popular poetry seminars.
Two seminars are scheduled to be held over zoom. The first is coming up this month with registration due this Saturday.
Seminar #1 – “Extensions”
Saturday, May 29, 2021, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Join poet and essayist Heather J. Macpherson as we read and discuss poems that extend two of our most important tools as writers: metaphor and the image. Class packet distributed to participants before the seminar.

Seminar #2 – “Taking Inventory”
Saturday, June 26, 2021, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Creating a ‘list’ is an ordinary act, and sometimes an everyday redundancy. Or is it? For this seminar we’ll read and discuss poets and poems that glean beauty through lists and repetition.
