Town buildings reopen Tuesday

Next week, most of Southborough municipal buildings will reopen to the public for regular hours. Those include the Town House, Senior Center, Public Works building, and the offices in the South Union building.

The Southborough Library will also reopen. However, the Library’s hours won’t be the full/usual ones to start*:

The library will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We hope to resume our regular schedule, including regular evening hours, in July 2021.

(It’s worth reminding here that in July and August, the Library is closed on Saturdays.)

For all of the buildings, the reopenings begin Tuesday, June 1st. (Monday is Memorial Day so the buildings will be fully closed.)

If you can’t wait until next week, the Town House has been allowing special appointments for many of its departments (though not for the Senior Center). And the Library is still allowing visitors to browse by special appointment this month.

*In normal days, the Library is open until 9:00 pm on Tuesdays – Thursdays.
