Aline Kathryn (Grady) Chleapas, a longtime resident of Southboro, Massachusetts, passed away on June 23, 2021.
Born in Philadelphia on January 7, 1933, she was the daughter of James Grady and Aline Wagner Grady. The thirty years Aline spent in Philadelphia were essential in crafting her persona.
Aline is survived by her sons Paul of Southboro, Massachusetts, and James and his wife Ann of North Andover, Massachusetts, her three grandchildren John, William and Kathryn and her husband Cristhian Tejada, and her nieces Margaret Collins, Suzanne Watson and Caroline Richards. She was predeceased by Constantine, her husband of over fifty years, and her brother James.
Aline was particularly fond of thrift stores, dining out, “Antiques Roadshow” and “My Brilliant Friend”, classic films, vacationing in the British Isles, Newport and Naples, and her beloved dog Bandit. She will be remembered for her kindness, grace, engaging smile, and her lifelong devotion to her family and friends.
Family and friends will honor and remember Aline’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham on Tuesday, June 29th from 4 – 8 P.M. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Southborough Rural Cemetery.
