Southborough Rotary shared some good news. The group will be bringing back the Food Truck Festival Rotary Food Truck Festival series this fall. To that end, they are seeking organizations to sponsor the event.

Rotary contributed photoWe are looking forward to bringing back this “tasty” community event after canceling in 2020 and now postponing it to this fall in 2021 – the food trucks are coming back! . . .

Sponsorship of trucks and tables will help defer the costs and provide funds and support for community needs and services. . .

The family-friendly festival will be held Wednesdays from September 15 – October 6. Each afternoon/evening the Rotary again will host four food trucks with a variety of dinner options and a fifth serving ice cream.

As usual, it will be held on St. Mark’s School field located at the corner of Routes 30 and 85. Below are more details from the announcement:

To sponsor a truck or a community service initiative, please reach out to David Vachris at davidvachris@stmarksschool.org. Organizations can sponsor a truck or a table for one or more weeks ($500 to sponsor one truck for four weeks; $150 to sponsor one truck for one week). Please consider partnering with Southborough Rotary for this community event. Past sponsors have included CityWide, Main Street Bank, The Fay School, The Southborough Library, The New England Center for Children, The Southborough Police Department, and St. Mark’s School.

We have had several successful years as a wonderful family-friendly event with people coming and hanging out and bringing blankets and kids playfully running about the field. Each Wednesday, we will host once again four food trucks (trucks such as The DogFather, Say Cheese, Travlin’ Bones, etc.) offering a variety of foods plus a Trombetta’s ice cream truck. We hope that you will reserve these dates on your calendar. More details will follow in a few weeks.
