The Southborough Library was scheduled to host Ed Popielarczyk’s magic show on their lawn this afternoon. If you’ve looked out the window, you’ll understand that’s not happening.
Due to the rain, the show is being postponed. The event is rescheduled for Wednesday, August 25th at 4:00 pm. The show is open to the public, no registration required.
In case you missed the original post, below are more details on the show.
Ed Popielarczyk has a history of tickling kids’ funny bones at the Library.
Over the years, the entertainer has brought a flea circus to the Library and twisted balloons for kids while making them laugh. More frequently, he’s brought his comedic magic show to the Library. Most recently, while the building was closed to the public, he taught children magic tricks through videos on the Library’s Facebook page.
Popielarczyk’s website describes:
My magic show uses a lot of audience participation. The kids are the stars because they make the magic happen.
The event is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library as part of the Summer Reading program. So, be sure to swing by the Children’s Room to have kids check out some books!
