Southborough Recreation is offering a Special Olympics Basketball program for 5-15 year olds:
Children with intellectual disabilities are invited to come and play in this non competitive environment with focus on learning basketball and making friends. Coaches, parents and high school volunteers will work with the players on a wide range of basketball skills and play short games. It will be a learning experience with a lot of fun!
The free program will be held in the Woodward School gym on Saturdays, 10:00 – 11:00 am, October 30th – December 4th.
While participation is free, registration is required. Participants must sign up through Rec’s website and submit a linked application to Special Olympics Massachusetts.
