The Southborough Library is inviting kids and teens to learn about important financial matters.
Join us for a fun opportunity over Zoom to speak with library staff and a local community bank officer about ways to make initial financial decisions
This “Money Matters” session will take place on Thursday, October 28th from 5:00 – 5:45 pm. Pre-registration is required, and is limited to 20 participants. (Click here to sign up.)
The flyer promises to cover topics that include:
- Picking a checking or savings account, what direct deposit is, and whether or not a having a check book “matters.”
- Connecting with library books and other helpful resources, including a review of Consumer Reports online.
- Talking with other middle grade and high school students as part of a community conversation about money!
If you have any questions, email Library Assistant Amy Townsley (atownsley@southboroughma.com) or Library Director Ryan Donovan (rdonovan@cwmars.org).
Registration closes on October 27th.
This program was made possible with a Libraries Transforming Communities grant distributed by the American Library Association.
