[Highlights from last week’s competitions and what’s on tap this week in high school sports.]
Last week was the start of the winter athletic season, but not of real competitions.
Algonquin Swim/Dive teams dipped their toes in the pool by participating in an annual Swim-a-thon. And Boys Ice Hockey scrimmaged with rivals.
This Friday and Saturday those teams and others will enter competitions that count towards their season records and rankings.

- 10:00 am – ARHS Girls Indoor Track Winter Festival @ Reggie Lewis Track Center
- 10:00 am – ARHS Boys Indoor Track Winter Festival @ Reggie Lewis Track Center
- 12:10 pm – ARHS Boys Ice Hockey vs. Hudson Public Schools @ New England Sports Center
- 4:10 pm – ARHS Girls Ice Hockey vs. Lincoln-Sudbury Regional @ New England Sports Center
