9 Southborough residents ran from Hopkinton to Boston yesterday.
Lauren Ames was the fastest from our town’s pack. In first place for the town’s male runners was Yun Gao.
For some of the runners, there was more involved than just the grueling race. Residents raised over $27K for charities. Lindsay Burke appears to have come in first in that race – raising over $16K for Boston Medical Center.
For three of the runners, it was their second Boston Marathon in six months. Yun Gao, Ramprasad Shetty, and Danielle Goodwin just ran in the October 2021 marathon.
Here are the official times and overall placement for Southborough runners:
- Lauren Ames (2:46:36) #974
