The Southborough Rotary is bringing back its popular Food Truck Festival. The “rain or shine” events* will open in 2½ weeks.
Food trucks will be on the St. Mark’s Field (at Route 85 & Main Street) on Wednesdays, May 25th – June 15th. The hours are 3:30 – 7:00 pm.
There is never an admission charge to attend the festival. Although, you can expect that the Rotary to use the event as a way to encourage people to support a worthy cause. Stay tuned for this year’s details on that and the food truck lineup. (In the meantime, you can look for updates on Rotary’s Facebook page.)
The main purpose for the festival is putting on a feel good, community event downtown. Check out my quick glimpse one of their successful nights last fall below:
*I’ve been told in the past that events are rain or shine, but I’m guessing that’s within reason. If weather for one of these events is forecast for torrential rain/thunder for the entire three hours, I’d look for news on cancellation/postponement.
