Town Election is Tuesday: Vote for Planning Board and Regional School Committee

Reminder – voting in the annual Town election is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 10th. All three precincts vote in the gym at Trottier Middle School. (Use the side entrance, facing the outdoor track.) Polls are open from 6:30 am – 8:00 pm.

[Note: I’ll be sticking this post to the top of the blog through Tuesday evening. To view more recent stories on Tuesday scroll down.]

There are two races on this year’s ballot. Below are a reminder of all of the details on who is running with helpful links.

The big Town race is for a seat being vacated on the Planning Board:

Planning Board – 5 year term

You can view the Planning Board section of Library Candidate’s Night which included Candidates’ statements.

Southborough voters also get to weigh in on Northborough’s representatives on the school committee for Algonquin Regional High School. There’s a battle for one seat this year:

NB-SB Regional School District Committee (Northborough Candidate) – 3 year term

You can also view their Q&A at Southborough Library’s Candidate’s Night, along with my coverage of that. And the Community Advocate covered their prior participation in Northborough’s event here.
