The Rampage Trio will play the second Southborough Summer Concert this season. Weather permitting, that takes place this Wednesday, July 13th.

The band played in the 2018 series. For those who missed them (or can’t recall), the trio performs covers and originals of Blues, Rock, R&B and Soul songs.

Boston Bands describes:

The Rampage Trio is a high energy, rock & roll band featuring singer-songwriter-guitarist Brian O, singer-bassist Ry’al Lindgren [formerly of Crimes in Graceland] and singer-drummer Mike Pohas [formerly of The Classmates]. Formed in 1990, everyone from Alice Cooper to ZZ Top and everyone in between factor in to the trio’s ever-evolving sound.

When it comes to music, hearing is better than reading. So, here’s a video from the band’s performance at the Marshfield Fair* a few years ago, when they invited the crowd to Listen to the Music.

You can also sample their original tune “Chocolate Cake” below:

The free, family-friendly concert takes place at the Neary School fields (53 Parkerville Road) from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. As always, the concert is on the lawn. So, bring blankets/chairs, and bug spray.

You can treat the evening like a dinner concert. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnics or buy from the food truck that will be on site. This session features La Mesa.

For this summer’s series, Friends of Southborough Recreation are sponsoring lawn games to help keep kids entertained at the concerts while parents kick back. Examples they noted are “jumbo Connect4, jumbo soccer balls, corn hole and more.”

Two more headline acts are scheduled bi-weekly this summer on Wednesdays:

  • July 27 – Chuck and Mud (Food sold by Joe’s Food Truck)
  • August 10th – Paxton Crossing (Food sold by Sabrosa)

*It appears that Southborough Access Media was unable to capture their prior performance in our town.

Updated (7/8/22 11:07 am): I forgot to include the info about lawn games.
