Last fall, Pilgrim Church launched Southborough Safe Spaces. They described it as a support group for “LBGTQ+ junior and senior high youth and their friends and allies”.
The group has continued to hold regular meetings. There are two more this summer with fun for rising 6th – 12th graders. Plus, you can save the date for a family BBQ.
Below are details from the website’s youth meeting page. The events are hosted by Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common Street “an open and affirming congregation of the UCC”. That doesn’t mean you have to be a member of the church to participate. The program promotes itself as “a safe welcoming community for LGTBQ+ youth of all faiths”.
