I’ve been asked to share news of an environmental event next week. (I don’t have a lot of details, but it is decidedly a political event.)
The public is invited to a “discussion with State Representative Candidate Kate Donaghue and Whitney Beals, President, Southborough Open Land Foundation.”
The event is “Preserving Open Space and Our Environment” will take place Tuesday, October 11 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
The gathering is promotes as “Free and open to the public.” But for details on the location and to RSVP, anyone interested is asked to email the candidate’s Campaign Manager, resident Grant Farrington at grant.farrington@me.com.
Donaghue* is running as a Democrat in the general election against Republican candidate, and resident, Jonathon Hostage. The two are competing to represent the new 19th Worcester District in the State legislature. the district created after the 2020 Census covers all of Southborough, plus parts of Westborough, Northborough, and Framingham.
[Editor’s Note: For full disclosure, my oldest child is involved in Southborough Democrats and a volunteer for Donaghue’s campaign.]
