A week from Saturday, the Southborough Firefighters Association will host its annual costume parade and party. For the second year, Southborough Recreation will follow those festivities with its “Trunk or Treat”.
Both events are free and open to the general public.
On Saturday, October 22nd, costumed families are encouraged to gather outside of Woodward School (28 Cordaville Road). At 2:00 pm, they’ll march down the access road to SFA’s annual Halloween party in their station garage (at the Public Safety Building).
As usual, the firefighters will be giving out treats and judging winners of their costume contest.
Immediately following, partygoers can head back over to the Woodward parking lot. From 3:00 – 5:00 pm Recreation and other Town departments will have the trunks of vehicles decorated like parade floats. Families are invited to trick or treat at each trunk.
