On Wednesday, they’ll compete in the annual 4-school “Borough’s Cup” tournament. (Algonquin last won the cup in 2018.) The Titans will face off against Marlborough in the first round. Depending on the outcome of that night’s game, they’ll move on to play either Westborough or Wachusett on Saturday night.
Algonquin Basketball had a rough entry to the season. Both varsity teams lost to Shepherd Hill on Friday. The Girls lost their away game, 38-48 and the Boys their home game 46-69.
