Break out the skates — or buy a pair. Reck is offering lessons starting in a few weeks.
Do you have kids in need of skating lessons? Or maybe certain scenes in Christmas movies might make you wish you could glide gracefully on ice. Or perhaps you need a gift for a family member who has everything except skating skills.
Whatever your reason, Southborough Recreation is offering you opportunities to sign up for skating lessons for ages 3+ through adults.
The lessons will take place weekly for 8 sessions beginning the first week of January. There is a weeknight and weekend option.
Rec is partnering with The Center Skating Academy at the New England Sports Center located 121 Donald Lynch Blvd, Marlborough, MA 01752.
Lessons are “for anyone who is interested in learning to skate or who wants to improve their skating skills”.
Participants must show up in their own skates. (No rentals will be available.) Beginners are also required to wear a helmet.
Lessons will take place on Wednesday evenings (5:10 – 6:00 pm) or Saturday mornings (11:00 – 11:50 am) beginning January 4th/7th. The cost is $230 for the 8 classes. To register, click here.
