[Blogging by the window on a day this wet, windy, and grey tends to dampen my spirits. But I got a boost this morning when I found two examples of community members spreading Holiday Cheer. Here’s the first.]
A Southborough business is asking the public to submit nominations for their “Annual Holiday Cheer Giveaway”. On Sunday, Gulbankian Florist made the following announcement on Facebook:
Seasons Greetings to our friends, customers and neighbors! We are pleased to announce the roll out of our annual “Holiday Cheer” program the week of 12/19. We will be donating and delivering festive floral arrangements to member of our Southborough community who could use a “pick me up”, struggling will illness or loss, or otherwise this time of year. Previous recipients are exempt from nomination. . .
We look forward to spreading some cheer with our flowers during this 2022 holiday season. As always, thank you for your ongoing support of our family business. -The Gulbankian family
The nominations will be anonymous. As of about 12:30 pm, Carolyn Gulbankian updated me that were still a few openings, but not many.
To make a nomination, visit the business Facebook page here to DM (direct message) the information.
