This Saturday, the “Central Massachusetts Young Democrats” are hosting a gathering in downtown Southborough. (It’s not a surprising locale, since both the Chair and Vice Chair live in town.)*
The “Pizza Party” is promoted as a launch for their 2023 local elections campaigns. They are looking to recruit members/volunteers and potentially raise funds:
CMYD Chair James Nichols-Worley and Vice-Chair Cassie Melo are hosting an event to kick off the local spring elections and November city elections watch.
Come join us for free pizza and drinks this Saturday January 21st at 6:30 at the Southborough House of Pizza! Young Democrats are on the ground and ready to start organizing for 2023, come join the movement!
Current & prospective Central Mass Young Dems members get in free! We hope to see you there: register to receive your ticket and come meet fellow young Democrats in Central Mass!
The free admission is for anyone under the age of 36 years old who lives in Worcester county or the northwest of Middlesex county – or anyone who attended a Central Mass Young Dems event in the last year.
Other members of the public are welcome to attend with admission ranging from $5 -$10 (or supporters can donate $35 to help them fund more events like this).
Pre-registration is encouraged. Click here to sign up.
Southborough House of Pizza is located at 5 Main Street.
*Full disclosure, I am the Vice Chair’s mother.
