Mark your calendars – Southborough BSA Troop 1’s annual Pancake Breakfast is coming up in a couple of weeks. (In preparation, Boy Scouts have been knocking on doors to sell tickets.)
It’s the primary fundraiser for Troop 1. Proceeds from the event support the Boy Scouts’ activities like camping, hiking, and community service projects.
They’ll be flipping and serving their own pancakes Sunday, April 2, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. That takes place in the Neary School Cafeteria (53 Parkerville Road).
Scouts will be serving up the usual “assortment of meats and beverages”.
Pancakes can be topped with traditional pancake syrup. Or you can hit the toppings bar. (In the past, my kids’ loaded up plates tended to look more like make your own sundaes than a pancake breakfast!)
Tickets cost $7 for adults or $4 for seniors and kids ages 6-12. Children 5 and under eat for free and there’s a maximum cost of $20 per household.
Don’t worry if you haven’t seen a scout at your door. You can buy tickets at the event or pay by Venmo to @BSATroop1Sobo. (Or just use the Venmo to donate to the troop.)
