A week from tonight, Fay School is holding another free event for parents of school aged children. The “Ideas&Insights” series presentation features a “conversation” with a clinical psychologist about helping kids build resilience and manage big emotions.
Fay’s event will be held May 10th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. As usual, the Fay event requires pre-registration.
Join Fay School in Southborough for a conversation with Dr. Rachel Kramer about building resilience and managing big emotions. During her presentation, Dr. Kramer will share cognitive behavioral approaches to building resilience and distress tolerance. She will discuss concrete strategies parents can use to encourage the development of emotional literacy and will present specific tools for supporting emotional regulation in both children and parents. Dr. Kramer’s presentation will include lots of practical, actionable ideas and suggestions, as well as a Q&A period at the end. This event is free to attend, but an RSVP is required.
