Shifstrong Home Run Derby – Saturday

2nd Annual Fundraiser to help "Strike Out ALS" in memory of Brian Shifrin.

In memory of his late father, Southborough teen Charlie Shifrin is putting on a 2nd Annual Home Run Derby. The fun competition is also a fundraiser for ALS research and care.*

The event this weekend will appropriately take place on Shifrin Field.

Shifstrong Home Run Derby flyer - pg 1The event is Saturday, June 3rd, 12:00 pm at the Mooney baseball complex (Finn School, 60 Richards Road). It’s free for spectators and $25 per batter. (Click here to register.)

The fundraiser is in memory of Brian Shifrin:

Southborough dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, coach, selectman, volunteer, friend and mentor to so many, who lost to ALS in November of 2019 at age 43.

Shifstrong Home Run Derby flyer - pg 1The competition will begin with softball players at 12:30 pm (middle school followed by high school).

The baseball competition for players 10U and up begins at 2:00 pm, split by age groups. The oldest group (ages 18+) starts at 4:15 pm. (See schedule right.)
