Algonquin’s Track team isn’t the only one in which Southborough students are winning medals.
I learned today that Southborough Rec has news worth worth sharing about their after school Trottier Track & Field program’s achievement:
Southborough Recreation’s Trottier Track and Field team were invited to the Massachusetts Division 3 Middle School State Championships this weekend. Coached by Southborough Recreation’s very own Joe Durant; the Trottier Girls and Boys qualified and competed in 11 events across the day long event.
Trottier beat out Harvard’s Bromfield School by 0.21 seconds to take gold in the 4×400 Girl’s relay. The Girls 4×400 group was made up of Sarojini Nath, Hadley Anglim, Tanvi Mehta, and Aleena Garge
The above right photo also includes Sabrina Devine (far right) who represented Trottier in the Shot Put event.
