It’s time to save the dates for this year’s free Southborough Summer Concert Series.
This year, Southborough Recreation’s series will return to a weekly format starting next Wednesday, July 5th through August 9th.
The concerts take place on the outdoor stage and field at Neary School, 53 Parkerville Road.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy a picnic. Bring your own dinner or purchase one from that night’s food truck.
Popular local favorites, Hit the Bus, will kick off the series. Sabrosa Venezuela is the food vendor for the first concert.
Concerts will take place each Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm:
- July 5 – Hit the Bus
- July 12 – Stomp ‘N Holler
- July 19 – South Street Band
- July 26 – Stacey Peasley (Kids performance)
- August 2 – Messy Excuses
- August 9 – Jumpin’ Juba
The series is sponsored by The Southborough Community Fund, Friends of Southborough Recreation, and Southborough Cultural Arts Council (funded through the Mass Cultural Council).
Updated (7/5/23) Sabrosa Venezuela is the food vendor for the first concert.
Beth, is there a listing of which food trucks will appear on which dates?
I contacted Southborough Recreation. They were able to tell me that tonight’s concert will feature a food truck from Sabrosa. They’ll also send me the list for future dates later today, so I can share those.
