- Hike with Goats (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Your reservation gets you and your group of family or friends an hour-long experience with a friendly goat on its own harness and leash. You will first learn how to walk with the goat, and then you’ll be accompanied by a farm staff member as you and your new goat friend make your way around the farm and its trails. - Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.

- Town facilities closed: The Southborough Senior Center, Southborough Library, and Town offices are closed for the federal holiday.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Senior Center Summer Programs Registration opens (10:00 am):The opening of registration for the Senior Center’s July and August programs and events. As usual, seniors can register in person or over the phone at (508) 229-4453. (You must connect with a staff member on that first day, not leave a voicemail.) For information on the programs, see dedicated post.
- Outdoor Story Time (4:00 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library lawn: Join Miss Kim for stories and fun! Please bring a blanket or chair. This event is for all ages and no registration is required. (In case of inclement weather, story time will be held in the Children’s Room.)
- Southborough Summer Concert Series (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Neary’s Outdoor Stage, 53 Parkerville Road: Southborough Recreation’s free weekly family friendly outdoor concert series. This week’s featured act is Hit the Bus. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Bring your dinner or buy one there from Sabrosa food truck.
- Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)

- Mah Jongg (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: The weekly program would love new players to join. Feel free to stop by to watch or talk to one of the players to see if you would be interested. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Face Painting (10:00 – 12:00 pm) @ Fayville Park & Playground pavilion, Central Street: For Parks & Rec month, Southborough Rec is bringing in SkyRise Theater to paint kids’ faces for free.
- Drop-in Lego Building (10:30 – 4:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room: Kids are invited to stop by during the day to build with Legos. They can then display their creations in the Children’s Room. Legos will be provided by the library. Parents or caregivers must remain with children.
- Blood Drive (12:00 – 6:30 pm) @ Southborough Library parking lot, 25 Main Street: Sign up for a time slot to donate blood through the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center bloodmobile. Each “successful” donor will receive a Patriots volunteer shirt as a thank you gift. For details, see dedicated post.
- American Legion Baseball home game (5:30 pm) @ Memorial Field, Northborough: The local team of high school and freshman year of college baseball players (including Southborough residents) is scheduled to play Framingham. For details, see related post.

- Dull Men’s Club (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Casual social club for senior men. New members are always welcome to drop in. For details, see dedicated post.
- Face Painting (10:00 – 12:00 pm) @ Fayville Park & Playground pavilion, Central Street: For Parks & Rec month, Southborough Rec is bringing in SkyRise Theater to paint kids’ faces for free.
- Kids Jam (11:00 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library Lawn: Kids are invited to dance and sing along to a variety of traditional and popular children’s songs Best for newborns through preschool age. No registration necessary. This event will be held on the library lawn. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
- Canasta (11:15 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Summer Craft Club (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Kids ages 12+ are invited to make craft projects using the Library’s materials, tools, and resources. (Made possible by support from The Friends of the Southborough Library.) For details, see related post.

- Peek in the Pond (5:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Join a local expert as you visit a pond on the farm to discover all the life to be found in this small but important body of water. You’ll search with buckets and nets to find things like dragonfly nymphs, tadpoles, salamander nymphs, and more.. Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, click here.
