The Friends of the Southborough Youth Commission are raffling off four tickets to an upcoming Celtics v Nets game at TD Garden.
The group is promoting that “chances” at winning the ticket can be purchased by donating to their non-profit.
FSYC is the tax deductible charity that supports work of Southborough’s Youth & Family Services department.
Good works FSYC helps raise funds for each year include the Winter Wishes program (helping families in need in early winter, leading up to the holidays) and camp scholarships for Southborough kids in the summer.
The charity received the Celtics tickets from a generous anonymous donor. Now, they are looking to make the most of the donation to help fund their causes.
They asked me to help promote the raffle. (In addition to entering the raffle, readers help support them by also spreading the word to friends or through social media.)
Donations must be received by October 31st. Since they aren’t selling physical tickets, the number of chances for winning the tickets are based on the size of the donation:
1 Chance for $50
3 Chances for $100
8 Chances for $250
20 Chances for $500
To enter, you can send in a check (which must be received by the deadline) or donate through Venmo.
For Venmo, make out payments to @FriendsSYC or use the QR code in the flyer above right.
To pay the old fashioned way, mail a check payable to FSYC to: Kathy Cook, The Fusion Group 132 Turnpike Rd., Suite 250 Southborough, MA 01772.
The game that a lucky winner will get to attend with friends/family members is on a Friday night, November 10th at 7:30 pm. (For seat details, see the flyer.)
