Pumpkin Stroll Photos (and contest update)

Highlights from Sunday night's display, plus corrected information on how to enter the ongoing contest.

I wasn’t able to make it to Southborough Rotary’s Pumpkin Stroll on Sunday night. Fortunately, I have a slew of contributed photos from the event I can share. Plus, I have an important correction on the contest for best pumpkins going on through late October.

As I previously shared, Rotary partnered with Trombetta’s Farm for this year’s event. As part of the fun, Trombetta’s will judge the top three carved/decorated pumpkins. That extends beyond those placed on the Old Burial Ground stone wall over the weekend.

Send in your photos by October 29th. Trombettas will name the top three winners to receive gift certificates for ice cream and/or mini golf.

To take part in the contest, email photos to trombettaspumpkincontest@gmail.com. (This is the corrected email address.)*

Here are the photo highlights, thanks to contributions and social media posts. (Note: These versions were cropped and/or resized to fit the blog. Later this morning, I’ll be posting full sized contributed pics to the Facebook page.)

First up are photos contributed directly by readers. Please click on the thumbnails for photo credits:

The following photos that were posted to Facebook by Gulbankian Florist highlight some of the contributions best seen in the daylight, including their own display:

The big album of photos below were provided by the Rotary Club of Southborough. (They deserve a big thanks not just the pics, but for putting on the popular community event and collecting donations for the Southborough Food Pantry!)

*My apologies for those of you whose emails kicked back based on the original announcement. The email address I first received had a typo.
