The Southborough Library is bringing in a Dungeon & Dragons Master to help run a game at the Library next week. Anyone ages 12 and older is invited to join them.
The session is a welcoming introduction for teens who have never played. (But that doesn’t mean it has to be your first time.)
The event will take place at the Library on Monday, October 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
If you somehow aren’t familiar, D&D is a table top fantasy game. Players each take on roles and are led through an adventure comprised of a combination of choices, and chance (based on roles of the dice).
The game became very popular in the early 80’s. While there has always been a continuing fanbase, there has been a recent resurgence in popularity.
The Library is promoting the event as D&D Day:
Try out a Dungeons and Dragons One-Shot Campaign on a chill Saturday afternoon led by a professional dungeon master from Quests at Hand. Meet your team and get ready for adventure!
Registration is required (here).
