An NSBORO organization is using the Northborough Mooyah to raise some moola again. The fundraiser for Algonquin’s Unified Basketball program is in one week, on Tuesday, November 7th.
The unified sports program allows students with special needs to be part of school athletics, with non-special needs classmates.
Last week, Metrowest Daily News covered a recent game between Algonquin and Marlborough High. (Spoiler, ARHS won.)
Tomorrow, the team will be playing Shephard Hill in the Algonquin gym at 3:30 pm. On November 8th is the Midwatch League Competition at Marlborough. And the big annual end-of-season jamboree, bringing together several schools will be at Northbridge High on Monday, November 13th.
Anyone who wants to help support the program is encouraged to take part in the November 7th fundraiser anytime between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm.
You can take advantage for lunch or dinner, or just an afternoon milkshake treat. Please mention the fundraiser when you order, so that a portion of the amount charged for your meal gets donated to the inclusive sports program.
The restaurant is located at 10010 Shops Way in Northborough.
The chain’s focus is burgers, fries and shakes. But they have other options, like alternative burgers (turkey or black bean) or hot dogs. You can check out the menu and other details here – just don’t place your order through the website!
