After four years, Heritage Chorale is returning to Southborough to perform. The concert “Voices of Joy and Thanksgiving” kicks off their 87th season.
The concert will be held in St. Mark’s School’s Putnam Family Performing Arts Center. When the group was promoting their 2019 fall concert at the same venue, they posted that the “Brilliant acoustics” of the auditorium would “bring out every subtle detail of our musical program”.
This year’s program will feature selections from:
- Ellen Taaffe Zwilich
- Goudimel, Tallis, Palestrina, and Mendalssohn
- Franz Joseph Haydn
- Nurit Hirsch
- Morten Lauridsen
- Libby Larsen
- G. F. Handel
- Benjamin Britten
The singers will be accompanied by a string orchestra and handbell Choir, plus an organ solo.
The concert is 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 19th. For more the full program and to purchase tickets in advance online, please visit heritagechorale.org.
