Southborough Recreation is offering pottery/ceramics classes this fall for adults ages 18+. Eight weekly sessions will run from late November through January.

This class is for students with all levels of working with clay who are interested in enhancing their pottery skills. Through the creation process, students will explore the relationship between form and function. In this class, students will receive demonstrations and instruction on basic hand-building construction processes and finishing techniques for functional ceramics. This class will also include a brief introduction to the potter’s wheel for creating functional work
The classes will take place on Monday evenings, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, November 27 – January 29th (except for Christmas and New Years Day). They’ll be held in the basement studio of the South Union building at 21 Highland Street. The cost is $160. To register, click here.
