Southborough man charged for allegedly grabbing Dunkin employee

Southborough Police issued a press release this morning. In it, they announce that a Southborough man has been arrested on charges of an indecent assault for allegedly grabbing a female worker in town.

The release, also posted to Facebook, states:

On 11/19/23 at approximately 1342 hrs, Southborough Police responded to Dunkin Donuts at 162 Cordaville Rd, to investigate a complaint in which a female employee was allegedly accosted by a male customer. Upon the officer’s arrival, the female employee advised the responding officers that she was accosted and inappropriately “grabbed” by a male customer. After an investigation into the incident (including the review of surveillance footage), [a Southborough man]* was identified, located, and placed under arrest by the investigating officers. [The accused] is being charged with Assault & Battery and Indecent Assault & Battery On a Person 14 Or Over.

Public records indicate the accused is a longtime resident in his mid 60s.

*By blog policy, I don’t generally include names of individuals upon initial arrest, in case charges are later dropped.
