Here are my photo and video highlights* from Santa Day and other holiday festivities and fundraisers in Southborough over the weekend.
Thanks to Southborough Kindergroup and sponsors, “Santa” always visits Southborough on the first Saturday in December. Happily, the weather cooperated enough this year to allow him to come in again by helicopter.

I didn’t get a chance to pop in the Community House this year for an inside shot. (If you have and good ones to share, you can email mysouthborough@gmail.com.)
At the Southborough Library, kids made ornaments at the Library and hung them on the tree near the Friends of the Library’s Holiday Book Sale (which was hopping this year).
St. Mark’s Church had a good turnout for its annual Christmas Bazaar – raising funds for the Youth Mission Trip.
Troop 92 held its annual Kids Shop at Pilgrim Church. The troop’s fundraiser allowed kids to pick out gifts for family members without parents’ prying eyes.
While it was a very busy weekend for holiday festivities, there are still a lot more activities coming up in the next few weeks. For my list of Christmas/holiday activities still to come, click here.
