Former Southborough resident, children’s author Susan Lubner, has a new book out. The public is invited to join her for a special visit to the Southborough Library over winter break next week.
Lunber will read from her book “Drag and Rex: Forever Friends“. Based on the publisher’s description, it’s a short, illustrated chapter book appropriate for beginning readers:
Meet Drag and Rex, the sweet, silly best friends who find joy and adventure in the simplest places in this charming and cheery modern Frog and Toad. . .
Forever Friends features three stories told in short chapters, accompanied by bright, joy-filled full color illustrations, allowing developing readers to gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment as they follow the adventures of their new forever friends.
Copies will be available for purchase and signing.
During the free event, kids can also make a crate and enjoy hot chocolate. The event takes place on Thursday, December 28th from 11:00 – 11:45 am on the Library’s main floor.
Lubner is also author of picture books Ruthie Bon Bair, Do Not Go to Bed with Wringing Wet Hair and A Horse’s Tale, plus co-author of Noises at Night. In addition, she has written the children’s novels Lizzy and the Good Luck Girl and The Upside of Ordinary.
