Plan to get your weekend errands done Saturday — because you’ll likely be hunkering down on Sunday. The National Weather Service is predicting 8-12″ of snow to hit Southborough.
The snow is predicted to mainly fall between 9:00 pm on Saturday night and 5:00 pm on Sunday.
That means roads should be open in time for school and commuting on Monday. But NWS does warn they will likely be slippery/icy.
I’m hoping that the trees felled by the December rainstorm and limbs trimmed by National Grid last month and this week mean that the storm won’t cause more power outages in town. (According to a Town tweet, today their crews will be on Boston Road, White Bagley Road, and Central Street. Plus they’ll be taking care of hanging limbs in town from the last storm.)
