This month, Fay School is holding another free event for parents of school aged children. The “Ideas&Insights” series presentation features an author and expert on “Raising Middle Schoolers”.
The presentation by Phyllis Fagell will focus on “The 10 Key Skills Kids Need to Thrive and How Parents Can Help”.
Fay’s event will be held Monday, January 29 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. As usual, the Fay event requires pre-registration.

During her presentation that is based on her books, “Middle School Matters” and “Middle School Superpowers,” Phyllis Fagell will help you keep the lines of communication open with your kids and teach them the key skills they need to navigate their teenage years (and beyond) with confidence. She will cover making good friend choices, negotiating conflict, regulating emotions, advocating for oneself, taking healthy risks, maintaining balance, recovering from setbacks, and more.

Phyllis is a nationally board certified school counselor, a therapist who works with kids and families in private practice at The Chrysalis Group in Bethesda, Maryland, an educational consultant, and an author and journalist.
