This morning, Algonquin Regional Principal Sean Bevan posted a message to students’ families, with a request from their “Career Exploration & Innovation Leader”.
They are seeking professionals/businesses willing to support the school’s efforts. Options include guest speaking, mentoring interviews, and offering internships.
Here is Bevan’s message:
As you may have seen in previous communications from me, one of our goals this year is to strengthen and deepen our work with students on career exploration. To that end, we are excited to create a network in our community of professionals and businesses seeking to partner with us and our students. Please see the note below from Michelle Kaelin, our Career Exploration and Innovation Leader, to learn how you can get involved:
Dear ARHS families,
As Algonquin Regional High School works to expand career exploration opportunities for students, we are interested in developing connections with area professionals and businesses. From serving as a guest speaker to hosting an intern, there are a variety of ways to make a meaningful impact on the career development of our students. Please take a moment to review this form and let us know how you’d like to get involved. Questions?
