Above: SYFS is offering scholarships for three camps based in Southborough to residents whose families qualify as needing financial support.
Today, I shared information on Summer Camps offered this year. That reminded me that families looking for camp scholarship support need to apply ASAP. Here are those details.
Since I hadn’t seen an announcement, I reached out to Southborough Youth and Family Services.
Some families may have heard from SYFS that they have already qualified through the application for Financial Assistance, which is also used for the Winter Wishes program and support by the Southborough Emergency Fund.
To give the opportunity to apply to readers who weren’t aware of the option, they extended the application deadline to Wednesday, February 28th. Click here to fill out the form.
SYFS will help families who qualify by covering at least part of the fees to attend one of three camps in town. (The percent they can cover depends on family size and income.)
The participating camps are Southborough Recreation Summer Camp, Southborough Extended Day Program, and Fay Discovery Camp. (You can read more about the camps in my prior post here.)
