Updated (3/1/24 3:15 pm): I learned that there will also be other yoga sessions at Theracopia in support of the fundraiser.*
Boston Children’s Hospital has been using Yoga to raise funds. This Sunday, a chill fundraiser in Southborough will support their “Yoga Reaches Out” initiative.
The special yoga session is led by resident Emma Katrina Bartolini of Shine + Shadow Yoga. It’s part of her “Community Chill Flow class”.
The cost to participate is $20 (cash or venmo).
Advance registration is required for the session on March 3rd from 9:00 – 10:00 am at Theracopia, 5 Crystal Pond Rd. Register by emailing shineandshadowyoga@gmail.com.
If you join them, you may also want to bring in a donation for Project Just Because.
Theracopia is holding a collection drive for them as part of their Year of Giving celebration. Anyone who brings in items from the wish list for the non-profit “Helping families in need” will be entered into a raffle for a free 60 minute massage. (See flyer right for the list.)
As for the chill class, the flyer explains:
Our practice will incorporate synchronization of breath and mindful movement, while we explore postures to build strength, balance, stability and instill relaxation.
All levels class, no experience necessary.
*Updated (3/1/24 3:16 pm): Kelli of Theracopia will also lead donation based yoga sessions for Boston Children’s Hospital on March 5th, 13th, 21st, and 29th. Registration is required here.
