The NCAA tourney hasn’t kicked off yet, but today is the start of another March Madness series. The Friends of the Youth Commission’s “March Munchie Madness” partners with Southborough restaurants to raise funds for summer camp scholarships and the Winter Wishes programs for Southborough families.
Today, March 6th, the participating restaurant is Hola Restaurant & Tequila Bar.
If you purchase food from the restaurant today, a portion of the order will be donated to FSYC. To support the fundraiser, customers should mention the fundraiser or show the flyer.
If you haven’t already, mark your calendars for the dates of partnerships with five more restaurants this month.
- March 10 — see details below
- March 13 — Nan’s Kitchen & Market
- March 20 — Southborough House of Pizza
- March 21 — Tomasso Trattoria
- March 27 — Yama Fuji Asian Cuisine
On March 10th, you can also support FSYC by ordering the “King Karaban” sandwich at Vin Bin (Southborough or Marlborough).* It’s named after star UConn player and Southborough native Alex Karaban. (You can read about the sandwich here.)
The promotional flyer also encourages anyone who can’t participate on the above dates to donate directly to @FriendsSYC through Venmo..
