This Saturday, Neary School 4th and 5th grade students will play the parts of America’s favorite “creepy” family in a kids version of the musical “The Addams Family”.
Two performances will be held in the Trottier Middle School auditorium at 2:00 and 5:00 pm on April 6th.
Tickets are $10-$12 and can be purchased online here.
Most readers will be familiar with the kooky characters in some form: the original New Yorker cartoons, the syndicated sitcom from the 60s, the 90s movies, or the recent Netflix series “Wednesday”.
Some of you may have even seen the school edition performed by Algonquin students in November:
For those who didn’t see it. . . the musical is based on a Broadway play from 2010. The premise: Gomez is horrified when his grown up daughter Wednesday confides that she has fallen in love with a “normal” boyfriend.
Neary’s production is produced by Skyrise Children’s Theater through a Southborough Recreation after school program for Neary students.
